A subtle, elegant-seeming act of taking warmth, presence, or intimacy without offering reciprocal depth or accountability. Often masked as care, check-ins, or charm; it keeps connection on the extractor's terms while avoiding true relational presence.

Bone-True: This isn't hunger—it's harvesting. The words sound generous while the body stays elsewhere. You'll feel a brief glow followed by a quiet depletion, like heat lifted from your fire without anyone tending it.

Staying with the contours of your own truth—before, during, and after expression—without outsourcing clarity to reaction or recognition. Tracing is rhythmic devotion, not delay; the opposite of chasing.
